URETEK injections ensure a more stable foundation
The conservatory attached to a corner house in Holtum was no longer perfectly straight due to subsidence. This detracted from the property’s presentable appearance. Furthermore, cracks had appeared in the internal and external walls. The solution: the URETEK DeepInjection® method.
The subsidence was probably caused by the subsoil not being sufficiently compacted during construction. This is a common occurrence, but can be easily remedied using the URETEK DeepInjection® method. The neighbours in Holtum had already had experience with this: they had previously faced a similar problem. Here too, URETEK provided a solution, to their complete satisfaction.
No more cracks
The owner of the house with the subsided conservatory was impressed by the result. He asked URETEK to improve the subsoil at his house as well and restore its load-bearing capacity. This was completed in a single day and the result here is also excellent: the pointing in the conservatory’s plinth has been pressed back into place, the crack in the joint between the house and the conservatory has been sealed, and the gap between the ceiling and the wall has disappeared.
Excellent collaboration
“The work required to reinforce the subsoil beneath the conservatory – which is built right up against our house – was carried out to a high standard,” says the homeowner. “The conservatory has been neatly straightened out again without any significant disruption. The collaboration with URETEK and the contractors carrying out the work also went very smoothly. In short, we are very satisfied!”
