Perfect results thanks to the DeepInjection® and FloorLift® methods
The extension to a house in Venray had subsided significantly due to a leak in an underground water pipe. URETEK resolved the problem quickly. The extension is now perfectly level again, thanks to the URETEK DeepInjection® and the URETEK FloorLift® method.
Frank Wilmsen, damage repair supervisor at Maasveste Berben Bouw, explains: “The subsidence wasn’t just unsightly; it also caused cracks and gaps in the façade and walls. A gap had formed between the house and the extension that was wide enough to fit a hand through. Cracks had also appeared in the floor between the kitchen and the living room. Naturally, the homeowner was keen to resolve this problem.”
Quick solution
“The owner had read about URETEK online and we’d worked with URETEK before, so a solution was found quickly,” continues Frank Wilmsen. “The subsoil beneath the foundations was stabilised and its load-bearing capacity restored. The floor was then underfilled and raised using an injection of a special resin.”
Cheaper than the alternative
“Everything went exactly as agreed. The result is perfect! The extension is standing straight again and everything is back exactly where it should be. As a result, the finishing work was minimal. A bit of sealant and a lick of paint were enough to make the whole thing look as good as new, without a single trace of the subsidence. This solution is much cheaper than the alternative: demolishing and rebuilding. What’s more, it was much quicker!”
