The extension to a detached house in Terhole, Zeeland, had subsided over the years. Significant cracks and gaps had developed, both inside and outside. The owner, in collaboration with Multiklus, called in URETEK to resolve the problem. The URETEK DeepInjection® method produced an excellent result.
Due to settlement of the subsoil, the concrete foundation slab of the extension had subsided: over an area of approximately 15 m², the extension had sunk by around 20 mm. URETEK ensured that the resulting cracks and gaps were minimised. The extension was once again aligned flush against the main house and the fridge sat snugly against the side wall. The tiled floor, the two worktops and the finishing strips – which, as a result of the subsidence, no longer fitted together neatly – were also free of gaps after the work was completed. Finally, the window sill was once again flush against the frame.
Precision work with a brilliant result!
