The Floorlift® method works a treat
You should be able to enjoy a swimming pool in your garden to the full. So if the tiled floor around the pool has partially subsided, you need to take action. A homeowner in Leerdam who found himself in this situation asked Keppel Construction in Oosterwijk for advice. This construction firm then called in URETEK. Thanks to the URETEK FloorLift® method, the tiled path is now neatly level again.
“The subsidence was probably caused by the settling of soft and compressible soil layers,” explains Marco Keppel of Keppel Construction. “This had caused uneven floorboards and loose tiles. A colleague of mine had seen URETEK at work before, and this seemed like the perfect job for them.”
Precision work
“URETEK decided to underfill and lift the floor, thereby restoring its load-bearing capacity,” continues Marco Keppel. “It was all done very neatly: the URETEK team know what they’re talking about and assess everything very carefully. They know exactly what they’re doing. They have to, because it really was precision work down to the millimetre. The tiles rose very slowly and neatly – it was lovely to watch! The problem was sorted in half a day.”
Excellent solution
“They did a really good job. The tiles are neatly aligned again and the whole thing looks great. This really is an excellent solution for this sort of problem. I’m very pleased with it, as is the owner of the swimming pool. We’ll certainly know where to find URETEK if we come across something like this again. In fact, I’ve just recommended them to a colleague by chance!”
