Jan de West
“You can keep waiting, but something has to be done at some point,” says Jan de West, recalling the moment he approached URETEK. The problem: subsidence at one corner of his house in Doetinchem. The solution: the URETEK DeepInjection® method.
The detached house had cracks on both the outside and the inside. “It didn’t look good, but more importantly, it wasn’t safe,” says Jan de West. “You can put up with it for a while, but at some point you want it sorted out, not least to prevent it getting worse. I was given the name URETEK by a neighbour who works for a large construction firm, so I got in touch.”
Lightning-fast execution
“URETEK sorted out the problem very neatly,” Jan de West continues. “They first recommended a ground investigation firm, which I hired to carry out a ground investigation. Based on the survey report, URETEK drew up a plan of action and came to carry out the work a month later. The work was completed in no time: you could soon see the wall rising and the cracking subsiding. After the grouting, they tidied everything up very neatly as well.”
Tips for others
“Of the cracks – which were about 5 mm wide – nothing remains now but tiny hairline cracks. Even the kitchen door opens smoothly again. It’s all been sorted out very neatly and I’m really pleased with the result. I’ve already recommended URETEK to others several times. I’d advise anyone with the same problem to call in URETEK. Don’t wait until the damage becomes irreparable and unaffordable!”
