Bart de Waele
The ground beneath Bart de Waele’s garage in Zele, Belgium, began to subside. To prevent damage to the garage and the house, he set about finding a solution. He found it in the URETEK DeepInjection® method.
Bart de Waele: “The hose on the pump used to drain the cellar had split. This caused a lot of water to leak out. When this was pumped out using a new pump, sand came up with it, from underneath the garage. Not a good sign. So we started digging under the driveway to see what was going on. That’s how we discovered a large hollow space under the house, extending halfway into the garage: it turned out that a lot of sand had been washed away from under the foundations.”

“It was a stressful time: you don’t want your house to sink. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case yet, but the house was already showing small hairline cracks. I had an engineer look at the problem.
