No more water damage in the swimming pool changing rooms
The concrete floor of the changing room at a swimming pool in Oosterbeek had subsided at an angle of approximately 3 cm due to settlement of the subsoil. This was unsightly and impractical, as water would pool on the floor. The floor is now perfectly level again, thanks to the URETEK FloorLift® method.
Van Weelden Construction in Oosterbeek was asked to find a solution to the subsidence problem. “I was working on a quote for the demolition and new build of the changing room when I decided to have a quick Google search for alternative options,” explains Jan van Weelden. “A good choice, because I soon came across URETEK.”
Cheaper and quicker
“After consulting with my client, I contacted URETEK and arranged an appointment. A representative came to assess the damage and sent a quotation shortly afterwards. The URETEK method turned out to be cheaper than demolition and rebuilding, and what’s more, the work could be done within half a day, so the decision was an easy one.”
No damage
“On the day of the work, the URETEK team arrived right on time as agreed, and within three hours the floor was back to the correct level. I’d never experienced anything like it before. It went really quickly, and both the client and I stood there watching in amazement. What’s more, there was no damage: a major plus. We’re therefore extremely satisfied. I’ll definitely call on URETEK again for a similar job!”
