Staatsbosbeheer Buitenleven
Partial subsidence had caused cracks to appear in the walls of ‘Schuttekamp’, a holiday home in Ruurlo owned by Staatsbosbeheer Buitenleven. The property now stands stable once again on Achterhoek soil thanks to the URETEK FloorLift® method.
The reinforced concrete ground floor had partially subsided due to settlement of the subsoil. To preserve the floor finish and underfloor heating as much as possible, we carried out the resin injections via the external façade. “A brilliant solution,” says Michel van Driel. He is the Outdoor Living area manager at Staatsbosbeheer BuitenZaken and was present during URETEK’s work.
Back to the right level
“Lifting the floor went remarkably quickly; it’s almost like watching miracles happen,” laughs Michel van Driel. “The floor was brought back to the correct level and you could see the cracks in the walls getting narrower. The subsoil is stable again and now we can neatly repair the damage to the walls.”
Clean work
“The result is exactly as it should be. URETEK carries out the work cleanly and tidies everything up properly afterwards. All you can see afterwards is a small hole in the ground and tyre tracks; that’s all. I’m delighted with how it’s turned out and already have the next project in mind for URETEK.”
