Commissioned by the owner, Aannemingsmaatschappij Hegeman B.V. from Nijverdal set about renovating a retail premises in Groningen. The URETEK FloorLift® method was used to raise the subsided floor.
Reinold Jansen is a project manager at Aannemingsmaatschappij Hegeman. He explains: “The floor of the retail premises had subsided considerably; by an average of four centimetres and in some places as much as seven to eight. Something really had to be done about this. Levelling the top surface was not an option. Fortunately, the chief structural engineer came up with the idea of calling in URETEK.”
