Quick solution thanks to URETEK DeepInjection®

Partly due to works being carried out in an adjacent building, an existing subsidence in a shop extension in the centre of Wageningen worsened. To ensure safety and prevent further delays to the project, swift action was taken. The problem was resolved within a week using the URETEK DeepInjection® method.

“When we noticed that the adjacent extension was starting to subside further, we immediately called in our chief structural engineer,” explains Henk Blankestijn, project manager at Bouwbedrijf Kreeft. “They quickly came up with an action plan and recommended URETEK to stabilise the foundation subsoil, in order to prevent further subsidence.”

Swift action
“We contacted URETEK straight away to discuss the options. Within four working days, a consultant was on site to assess the situation, and we received a quote the very next morning. We approved this on the same day, following consultation with various parties. The very next Sunday, URETEK were already able to come and resolve the problem. It was all done very quickly – which was brilliant!”

Impressive
“I am very pleased with the communication with URETEK and their swift action,” continues Henk Blankestijn. “The work went smoothly and was successful. The measuring equipment showed that the foundations had been raised by around 6 to 7 mm. It was impressive to see: a two-storey building weighing over 30 tonnes was lifted seemingly effortlessly. The execution was more than satisfactory and we were able to get back to the renovation work quickly. Everyone involved is pleased with the result and I can therefore certainly recommend URETEK.”
