Lifting subsided runways
Subsided runways and aprons at airports can lead to dangerous situations and, in the worst-case scenario, disrupt air traffic by causing damage to aircraft. The URETEK FloorLift® method allows such subsidence to be rectified quickly, cost-effectively and without causing significant disruption.
The URETEK FloorLift® method is the ideal solution for lifting subsided concrete slabs at airports:
- major interventions such as breaking up or re-laying the concrete slab are not necessary;
- the subsided concrete slab can be restored to exactly the correct height in a short space of time.
Lifting concrete slabs at airports
To rectify the subsidence, we inject a powerful expanding resin beneath the concrete slab. Thanks to the high upward pressure, the subsided concrete slab is immediately raised to the correct level. This injection method is extremely precise and can be controlled down to the millimetre. See how the URETEK FloorLift® method works here.
