Lifting of subsided level crossings and concrete crossing slabs
Subsided level crossings and subsided concrete crossing slabs can create hazardous situations for both rail and road traffic. Using the URETEK FloorLift® method, these subsidence issues can be rectified quickly, cost-effectively and without causing significant disruption or prolonged disruption to rail traffic.
The URETEK FloorLift® method is the ideal solution for lifting subsided sleeper plates and/or subsided level crossing slabs:
- major interventions such as breaking up or re-laying the concrete slab are not necessary;
- the subsided level crossing can be restored to exactly the correct height within a short time.
Lifting concrete level crossings
To rectify the subsidence, we inject a powerful expanding resin beneath the concrete slab. Thanks to the high upward pressure, the sunken level crossing slab is raised back to the correct level. This injection method is extremely precise and can be controlled down to the millimetre. See how the URETEK FloorLift® method works here.
